Connections Luxury Europe will return to Catalunya
Connections Luxury Europe will be hosted in Catalunuya, Costa Brava from 21-24 April 2024 for leading travel companies who are seeking to attract luxury travellers from Europe.
We will also welcome luxury travel designers from Europe - and a small contingent internationally - who wish to expand their product portfolios to offer their HNW clients the chance to discover new, exciting destinations beyond their borders.
✈️ Europe offers the world’s largest source market for outbound tourism, generating 618 million international tourist arrivals (~50% of the world’s total prior to Covid).
🧳 Out of all 618 million trips by European citizens:
521 million travelled within Europe
35 million travelled to Asia and the Pacific
32 million travelled to North and South America
18 million travelled to Africa
12 million travelled to the Middle East
🌴 Europe holds the major market share, accounting for nearly two-fifths of the total share of the global luxury travel market in 2018, and is expected to maintain its leadership status during the forecast through 2026.
This is attributed to preference for customised and private vacation and surge in number of travellers in countries such as Greece, Spain, and Turkey.
